2010 People’s Choice Award winners

Winners were announced at a special ceremony in Tamworth yesterday in the 2010 Australian Country Music People’s Choice Awards.

Best Female Vocal went to Melinda Schneider while Troy Cassar-Daley was named Best Male Vocal.

Jetty Road took out their second Best Group award and also snared Best Song for Million Miles including as writers.

The First Lady Of Country (written by Graham Rodger & Deirdre Wilmington, recorded by Graham) won the award for Best Bush Ballad.

Lee Kernaghan’s Planet Country was named Best Album.

Young Queensland newcomer Daly Stephenson won the Most Promising Future Star award while Australian Country Music Unites (led by Tamara Stewart) won Best Video Clip with Tangerine Sky (production by Ross Wood).

Larry Cann of KIX Country was named Most Popular Country Music DJ while the station took out the  Most Popular Country Music Radio Station category.
